The Balefire Awards began as an idea for an awards program recognizing those in the pagan and magickal community who benefit the magickal and non-magickal community with the works and deeds. Starting as a joint effort between the Domain, Elpoepia, and Brigid's Well, the efforts towards the awards program fell off. Only with the domain undertaking the project again has the project come to reality as the Balefire Awards.
