Balefire Awards
Nomination Information

Anyone can nominate anyone who they think have made a difference in their community for the Balefire Awards. When submitting information, we ask that nominators provide as much information as possible about the nominee: including full name, contact information, and a little info on the person and what they've done to be nominated. We require plenty of information to determine who's worthy of receiving the First, Second, and Third Prizes, so as much information as you can provide would be most appreciated.

Nominees will be organized according to the following fields:

Charity/Outreach - work done towards helping the homeless, those with illnesses, physical and mental challenges, etc.
Conservation - Work done to protect wildlife, natural areas, and the environment.
Education/Advancement - Work done towards educating and advancing the community in a positive way.
Inspiration/Creativity - For work in the fields of music, art, and literature.
Interfaith Relations - Work done towards understanding and fellowship within and between different faiths/religions/beliefs.
Preservation - Work towards the upkeep of historical and sacred areas and sites.

Nominations will be accepted between February 2nd and August 2nd of every year, with the list of potential winners announced August 3rd. Deliberations on the nominees will be made between August 3rd and February 1st, with winners of the First, Second, and Third Place prizes announced February 2nd. Non-winners will be placed on the annual List of Honor.
