Eternal Moon Valley(Ontonagon River Valley)
Between the shires of Quiet Valley(Mass City, Michigan) and Crossroads(Bruce's Crossing, Michigan)
Snowdonia
"I've given this valley many names,... but it was a dear friend who inspired me to name it Eternal Moon Valley. I came upon it when Snowaidene suggested the route through Mass City to Bruce's Crossing as the quicker route to get to our sister Tia's home for that particular day's outing. you can feel and sense the signifigance of the valley's ancient power from the moment you come to the valley's edge. It was - and still is in many respects - a holy valley. The power held there is quietly immense. The only mark of civilization in the valley other than the road itself is a rest stop at the valley floor, set right upon the shores of the Ontanogon River. The forest that covers the sides of the vale are old: older than I can tell. The oldest among them are the great pines: which tower like redwoods above all the other trees of the valley. They're so old, branches radiate out from the very tops of the trees themselves, and they lean because of their height and weight. Driving through this valley, you are aware almost immediately of the spirits that still walk through this vale. Spirits akin to the Ents of Fangorn Forest from "The Lord of the Rings", or the forest gods from "Princess Mononoke". And in truth, that is what this valley is. Gods and spirits still walk in this valley. Ancient to where few - if any - remember their names. They are aware of everything in the world, as they are a primal part of Gaia herself. In day, you are filled with awe at feeling the amount of power that flows through the valley. At night, the inhabitants walk the forests and the valley floor, so if driving through, it is a show of respect to not stop,... unless some quest brings you to spend the night there. Or they call you there to tell you things they feel you need to know." - ShadowDarkFyre the LordVengeance, ur-Lord
